GALERIE KREO
Galerie Kreo flies the flag for design right in the middle of the Louise Weiss district in Paris, only dedicated to contemporary art. Founded and managed by Didier and Clemence Krzentowski, the gallery is devoted to the experimental, artistic and research work of the most talented designers, giving them the ability to create and develop pieces completely freely. Galerie Kreo produces and exhibits one-off and limited edition pieces by the likes of Ronan et Erwan Bouroullec, Marc Newson, Martin Szekely, Pierre Charpin, Konstantin Grcic, Hella Jongerius, Alessandro Mendini and Jasper Morrison. The gallery has added “kreo lights” to cover major lighting from the 50's through to today, with work from designers such as Achille Castiglioni, Ingo Maurer and Gino Sarfatti. Galerie Kreo is currently preparing the Archives Catalogues Raisonnes of the work of Martin Szekely, Marc Newson and Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec. Graphic designer Laurent Fetis has created the graphic identity of the gallery: a collector system around the invitations, changing the colours from one year to the other. |
